Stephanie J. Hessler

January 20, 1954 - March 15, 2004

Stephanie J. Hessler, of Manteca died Monday at home.

Stephanie was a native of Alameda, California and lived in Manteca for 16 years. She was an employee of Connecting Waters Charter School as a teacher for 6 years. Stephanie was a member of St. Marys Episcopal Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she was a Scout Leader, and her hobbies included knitting and music of all forms, but her favorite was the harp.

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey, a son Peter and daughter-in-law Tiffany of San Francisco, two daughters Beckie and Joy of Manteca and a sister Roberta Muller of Roseville. She was preceded in death by her parents Halina and Jack Johnstad.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Sequoia Heights Baptist Church in Manteca. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of San Joaquin County, 2609 E Hammer Lane, Stockton CA 95210
